Aron Matschulat Aguiar is a director, producer, and writer. Graduated in cinematography from Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires, he has directed over 15 short films, including “Diários I – Eva” (2016), “Diários II – Tamara” (2018), “Eu Sou Filha Dela” (2021), “(re)começo” (2021), “Egos” (2023), and “Diários III – Cora” (2024), as well as the documentary feature-film “Ewigkeit” (2022). His films have been featured in festivals such as Dumbo Film Festival, MADRIFF, Lift Off, DMOFF, London Shorts, and Aesthetica Film Festival, with national premieres on Canal Brasil for the shorts “Eu Sou Filha Dela” and “Egos”.
Aron has more than 10 years of professional experience, with significant expertise in animation. His film “3D Tragedies”, directed for the NGO Stop Handgun Violence, won a Clio Bronze in 2019 and was selected for Cannes Lions and One Show festivals. His films and advertising productions have also received awards and been featured in festivals such as Ciclope, D&AD, LIA, and CCSP.
